We are happy to announce that we are now selling Katz Dance shoes.
These shoes have been developed exclusively for the Royal Academy of Dance, and are light and flexible on the foot. They have a stylish upper, with a press fastener, and all-important suede soles. This Katz shoe also has a Cuban heel, and is available in both children's and adult sizes.
Katz is a family run business based in Northamptonshire. They have been in operation for over 30 years, and use traditional methods to make all of their products that have been passed down from generation to generation, and only use the best material for their products. These shoes are no exception.
- Make sure your Katz dance shoes fit snugly without any pressure on your foot. This means when your shoes are broken in, you will have more control of your shoes while dancing.
- Take notice of the heel. For beginner dancers, it is best to start with a smaller heel in order to learn how to dance with a heel. We sell Katz dance shoes with a low and Cuban heel, which caters to both beginner and intermediate dancers.
- Check the shoes suit your style of dancing. These Katz dance shoes would suit mostly classic and smooth dances such as the waltz or foxtrot, whereas open-toed shoes are more suitable for Latin dancing, which includes some pointed footwork.
- Why are suede soles so important? Suede soles give the right amount of traction whilst moving around a dance floor, and helps the wearer feel more comfortable and in control when doing different steps.
